First Sight

Static smirks as he stares at Juliette, his hands resting on his knees. She scrapes her hair back and smiles. "I'm glad we could spend time together today," she tells him, eyes fluttering when he kisses her.

"So am I," he says. She blinks at him and slips her fingers into the pockets of his jeans, pulling out a cigarette and lighter. "Your parents wouldn't like this."

"Oh well," she whispers, lighting the cigarette before cupping his face with her free hand and kissing him.

Wishing she could live in that memory, Juliette sighs as she walks to the window.
